The Langtang valley is called -'the valley of glaciers’, with over 70 glaciers, where mountain rises and seen soaring towards the sky. The valley offers pine forest, swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow-capped peaks and meadows strewn with daisies and wild flowers. A variety of sights, including monasteries, a cheese factory, yaks, glaciers and mountain lakes all of which await you in this exciting region. The best hidden destination of Nepal, Langtang valley is 19 miles north of Kathmandu. Although close to the city, its rich eco system with the wild scenery is ethereal. Langtang Valley Trek incorporates the Himalaya’s beauty, unique bio-diversity and Tibetan lifestyle. Is the LV Trek Difficult? LV Trek is a moderate level trek, suitable for anyone. Either you’re inexperience or professional, this trek is appropriate. Anyone with an average fitness can complete this trek. As this is a lengthy trek we want your physical and mental health to be at its best. Our advice is to do regular exercises and preparations before the trek. We recommend stamina building exercises like running and swimming. This allows your body to adapt and sustain the energy level keeping your health in check. Our professional guides will guide the trek with utmost caution and safety. You will trek in a slow and steady pace and taking lots of breaks. The key is to trek slow, acclimatize and drink plenty of liquids during the trek. Best Time to Do Trek The best trekking experience depends on the time of the year. LV Trek can be done in all seasons with professional guides. But spring season (March to May in Nepal) and autumn seasons (September to November in Nepal) are of course the best seasons for the trek. In spring, the moderate and dry climate makes trekking comfortable. The flourishing bio diversity makes the trails vibrant and beautiful. Autumn season provides better mountain views, less humidity and less perspiration. The clear blue skies bring about crisp views of the mountains. But the Himalayas won’t disappoint in any season. What to Expect
Langtang Valley Trek begins from Syabru Bensi (2500m) to Chorkari RI (5050m). This trek is a full combinations of farmlands, glaciers, lakes, and spectacular peaks along the Tibet border. Also, Kyanjin Gompa village (3800m) presents breath taking views of Mt. Langtang Lirung, Chengdu and Mt. Dorje Lakpa.
Langtang National Park spreads over 1710 sq km presents Himalayan bio diversity. This is second largest national park of Nepal. It is home for endangered species like Red Panda, Himalayan Thar, wild deer, falcons and others. You can also find Danphe, the national bird of our country Nepal.
Cultural aspect of Langtang Valley Trekking is rich in diversity. Tamang, Newar, Sherpa, and others bring the diverse in culture, costumes, crafts, traditional houses, prayer flags and porches.

As per your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu and one of our representatives will receive you. He will escort you to your hotel where you’ll spend the night. On the first day we’ll provide you the information about the trek. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3 Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2500m/8200ft) Duration: 5 Hours
Day 4 Lama Hotel to Mundu via Langtang Village (2470m/8103ft) Duration: 6 Hours
Day 5 Langtang Village to Kyanjing Gompa (3798m/12495ft) Duration: 4 Hours
