The change in the environment is immediately felt as you land at the world’s highest airport, the Lukla Airport. The Himalayas welcome you with a cool breeze. The trek initiates through the trails taking you to ethnic Sherpa villages all the way to the base camp. You can experience the remote mountainous lifestyle with the locals away from modernization. Throughout the journey, the beautiful Himalayas keep your eyes open wide. The spectacular mountains embellish the place an ethereal beauty. Walking through the Rhododendron forests, via suspension bridges and steep ridge lines takes your breath. Each villages represents unique cultural significance and spectacular mountain views. Either you’re inexperience or professional, this trek is appropriate. Anyone with an average fitness can complete this trek. Though this is a short trek, we want your physical and mental health to be at its best. Our advice is to do regular exercises and preparations before the trek. We recommend stamina building exercises like running and swimming. This allows your body to adapt and sustain the energy level keeping your health in check. Our professional guides will guide the trek with utmost caution and safety. You will trek in a slow and steady pace and taking lots of breaks. The key is to trek slow, acclimatize and drink plenty of liquids during the trek. Best Time to Do This Trek The best trekking experience depends on the time of the year. SE Trek can be done in all seasons with professional guides. But spring season (March to May) and autumn seasons (September to November) are of course the best seasons for the trek. In spring, the moderate and dry climate makes trekking comfortable. The flourishing bio diversity makes the trails vibrant and beautiful. Autumn season provides better mountain views, less humidity and less perspiration. The clear blue skies bring about crisp views of the mountains. But the Himalayas won’t disappoint in any season. What to Expect
Each and every points of the trek incorporates highlights. You’ll visit the popular Namche Bazaar, full of Sherpas and the gateway to Mt. Everest. It is also a historical trading hub of the Himalayan and low land traders. This town presents beautiful mountain views such as Ama Dablam, Lhoste, Nuptse and the Mt Everest. Everest View Hotel, at an altitude of 3,962 m, boasts the magnificent views of the Mount Everest through the windows of all of the rooms'. We’ll hike to the hotel to enjoy the Everest and its elegant splendor. The hike lasts 3-4 hours and is grandeur in nature. Trekking through Dudh Koshi and Imja River valley, leads us to Tengboche, the spiritual hub of Khumbu. Tengboche monastery is the oldest Buddhist monastery of Khumbu. It provides the splendid sights of Ama Dablam and Everest. We view the glistening sunrise that turns the Himalayas as if they are turned into gold. The path intertwines with Sagarmatha National Park, a protected UNESCO world heritage site. It is home to several creatures like musk deer, red panda, snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, Himalayan munal martens and many more.
Day 1 Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu
Whatever time you arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our airport representatives. He will help you get transferred to your Hotel. There are no planned activities for the day, so you may check into your Hotel and relax. Tour plans and programs will be provided to you later. Overnights stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.
